During the academic year, students can learn more about broadcasting through an internship at CPTV or WNPR. Our interns range from college students to high school students and career changers who want to investigate the world of broadcasting.
What factors do you use in selecting interns and work-study applicants?
Many things are looked at during the selection process, including:
- Skills and strengths you could contribute to the internship
- Communication and people skills
- Academic record
- Goals and career interests
- Current needs of departments at Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc. (CPBI)
Are your internships paid or unpaid?
CPBI internships are unpaid.
Do you have any paid positions for students?
CPBI has a limited number of work-study positions. Check with your college financial aid office for CPBI work-study listings.

If an internship or work-study position is available that matches your qualifications and interests, you will be notified and scheduled for an interview.
