The Connecticut Children’s Museum
The Connecticut Children’s Museum is an award-winning museum that is interactive, innovative and inclusive. The museum honors the culture of children and celebrates the many ways that children learn together with their families as their first and best teacher. The Connecticut Children’s Museum is a community classroom that features hands-on exhibits, an observation bee hive, the great, green room from the children’s classic picture book, Goodnight Moon, and a pint-sized post office. The museum is a literacy-based and arts-rich place where children can experience the magic of learning at their own pace, a place full of whimsy and wisdom, a space built to their size and specifications.
The Connecticut Children’s Museum is a magical place for children and their families. The Connecticut Children’s Museum is rich in resources and unstructured time where children can step into an imaginative and interactive experience in each museum room. Our PACK project partners with the John C. Daniels Elementary School, a dual language program. Children come on field trips where they each receive a high-quality, bi-lingual children’s picture book and a free pass to return to the Museum with their families.
