About the CPTV Geno Roast:
Join CPTV for its first gala honoring Geno Auriemma, unquestionably one of the greatest coaches of all time. Auriemma, who is in his 22nd season as Head Coach of the UCONN Women’s Basketball Team, was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of fame and the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2006.

The CPTV Geno Roast will be an extraordinary evening filled with tributes and ribbings from players, coaches, personal friends and family. Among those people who will highlight his numerous accomplishments are: former player, Rebecca Lobo, and coaches Jamelle Elliott, Phil Martelli, and Howie Dickenman.

CPTV will tape the event and produce a DVD that all pledgers will receive. CPTV may also broadcast the roast in the future.

All proceeds from the gala will go towards funding CPTV’s live broadcasts of the UCONN Women’s basketball games.
